Dover residential burglary under investigation

DOVER — A residential burglary in the 200 block of North State Street is under investigation, Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

The incident took place between 8 a.m. Monday and 3:37 p.m. Thursday when the resident returned home, according to authorities. Police said the suspect or suspects entered the home by breaking a rear glass door and then removed an Apple iPad and various DVD movies before fleeing.

Police asked anyone with information to call 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at; a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
