ELLENDALE – Delaware State Police last Friday arrested a 19-year-old Ellendale woman, accused of stabbing her ex-boyfriend in the back during a domestic incident.
Salena Timmons was charged with Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Course of a Felony, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Assault 2nd degree, state police spokesman Sgt. Richard Bratz said.

According to police investigation, troopers on June 21 responded to the 12000 block of Piney Branch Road for a domestic.
A 26-year-old Maryland man, the ex-boyfriend, arrived to pick up his two-month-old son from his mother, Salena Timmons.
The man left with his son and later returned to the residence to drop off the baby when a verbal altercation turned physical, Sgt. Bratz.
Investigation revealed Timmons got a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the right shoulder blade as he was attempting to gain the grandmother’s attention through a window, Sgt. Bratz.
The victim managed to get inside the residence and lock the door. A family member called 9-1-1 to report the stabbing.
Ellendale EMS provided medical attention to the victim.
Timmons was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Department of Correction on $71,000 secured bond.
