According to police investigation, troopers on June 21 responded to the 12000 block of Piney Branch Road for a domestic.

A 26-year-old Maryland man, the ex-boyfriend, arrived to pick up his two-month-old son from his mother, Salena Timmons.

The man left with his son and later returned to the residence to drop off the baby when a verbal altercation turned physical, Sgt. Bratz.

Investigation revealed Timmons got a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the right shoulder blade as he was attempting to gain the grandmother’s attention through a window, Sgt. Bratz.

The victim managed to get inside the residence and lock the door. A family member called 9-1-1 to report the stabbing.
