Farmington man robbed at gunpoint

GREENWOOD — A 21-year-old Farmington man was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night at the Atlantic Aluminum business, authorities said.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:05 p.m. at 9707 Nanticoke Business Park Drive, Delaware State Police said. Spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said the man was unloading a forklift when he was approached by a male brandishing a handgun and demanding his wallet. The man turned over his wallet and the suspect fled the area on foot, police said. The man was not injured.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-10 to 5-11 tall black male weighing 175 to 200 pounds, wearing dark colored pants and a hooded sweatshirt.
