Fourth offense DUI reported in Rehoboth Beach

REHOBOTH BEACH — A 36-year-old Rehoboth Beach man was charged with a fourth offense DUI of alcohol following a traffic violation stop around 8 p.m. Wednesday night, authorities said.

Justin M. Martine was driving a silver Jeep Compass that struck a curb when turning left from First Street onto Rehoboth Avenue, rupturing a tire. There were no left turns permitted at the intersection, Rehoboth Beach Police said.

Following investigation and standard field sobriety tests, Mr. Martine was also charged with driving with a revoked or suspended license, failure to have insurance identification in possession, failure to have the vehicle registration card in possession, failure to obey a traffic control device, following a motor vehicle too closely, and failure to report a change of address.
