Frankford man charged in domestic incident

FRANKFORD – Delaware State Police say a 48-year-old Frankford man was arrested and charged with assault in connection with domestic-related incident that occurred Friday, July 26.

At approximately 3:09 p.m., July 26, troopers responded to a residence on Bayard Road in Frankford for a physical domestic in progress. There, a 45-year-old female victim told state police that she was involved in a physical domestic with her husband, Alex D. Taylor at the residence on Bayard Road, state police spokesman Sgt. Richard Bratz said.

During the domestic, the victim sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries, Sgt. Bratz said. She was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

Taylor was charged with felony Assault 2nd Degree. Taylor was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Court and released on a $5,000 bond, Sgt. Bratz said.
