Hardee’s robbed by two suspects

DOVER — Two gun-wielding men robbed a Hardee’s Restaurant on Greentree Drive Sunday night, Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

Authorities said the armed suspects entered at approximately 9:47 p.m. and demanded cash. The employee complied and the men fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The first suspect was described as African-American, 6-foot tall with an athletic build, carrying a shotgun style firearm. The second suspect was described as African-American, approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall, slim build, with a small caliber pistol.

Police asked anyone with information to call 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delawarecrimestoppers.com; a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
