Harrington man charged with making terroristic threats

HARRINGTON — A 24-year-old Harrington man was arrested on six terroristic threatening counts after investigation into an alleged incident on Sept. 1, Harrington Police said Monday.

According to spokesman Sgt. Earl K. Brode, police were called to a residence in the 300 block of Weiner Avenue for a domestic dispute claim.

Police said investigation found that Ryan T. Chituck had allegedly threatened to harm an adult and five children who lived in the residence, according to a family member’s text message.

Mr. Chituck later turned himself in to police, authorities said. He was arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 7 in Dover and was released on unsecured bond.
