Jury deliberating in Dover murder case

DOVER – A jury is now determining the fate of a 20-year-old Lincoln man accused of a fatal shooting outside an after-prom party last year.

Ahmir Bailey was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Jameir Vann-Robinson, 20, of Smyrna, on Mitscher Road in Dover in the early morning hours of May 13, 2018.

Other charges included first-degree attempted murder, include possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, shoplifting, second-degree burglary and theft, third-degree conspiracy and three counts of a theft of firearm.

Closing arguments were completed by 1:30 p.m.
