Late night burglary reported at Merle Norman store

DOVER — Police were called to Merle Norman Cosmetics for a reported burglary at 11:10 p.m. Monday, Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

Police said an unknown suspect broke the front door glass to make entry into Suite 113 at 1030 Forrest Ave.. The burglar removed cash from the register and ransacked the back office and break room area and then fled.

Police ask anyone with information to call 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at A cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
