Magnolia man indicted for alleged drug dealing

 

DOVER — A drug dealing charge was brought against a Magnolia man last week after investigation into an alleged high speed pursuit and ensuing foot chase on Oct. 27, according to court documents

Ray O. Horsey also was indicted by a Kent County grand jury on counts of disregarding a police officer’s signal, aggravated possession, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended/revoked. He was 31 when the Delaware State police announced his arrest last fall.

According to authorities at the time, an apprehension was made after an alleged brief struggle in a wooded area in the 100 block of Lambert Drive in Magnolia. Police alleged that a plastic bag containing 124 bags of heroin weighing 1.86 grams were located.

Mr. Horsey was initially held by the Delaware Department of Correction on secured bond after his arrest.

Deputy Attorney General Zachary George represented the Delaware Department of Justice in the indictment.
