Man shot in head during Dover incident

DOVER — A 36-year-old man was shot in the head during an incident in the unit block of Stevenson Drive Wednesday night, Dover Police said.

The man was transported to Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital by others before police arrived at 9:29 p.m. and remained hospitalized in stable condition, authorities said.

Dover Police said an unknown suspect or suspects drove through the Manchester Square community before multiple gunshots were fired. Besides the wounded man, a vehicle was also struck.
