Millsboro man arrested for allegedly selling drugs

MILLSBORO — A 27-year-old from Millsboro was arrested on Friday by Delaware State Police for his alleged role in the sale of illegal drugs following a police investigation, according to police spokesman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe.

On Friday, members of the Sussex Drug Unit concluded a two-month investigation into the alleged selling of drugs by Desmone J. Justice in the Sussex County areas.

Master Cpl. Jaffe said a search and seizure warrant was obtained for Mr. Justice’s 2019 black Chevrolet Camaro, which was parked in the Plantation Lakes development in Millsboro when the warrant was executed.

Police seized 1,131 bags of heroin (around 7.917 grams) and more than $3,500 in suspected drug proceeds from the vehicle.

Mr. Justice was seen traveling on John J. Williams Highway when he was taken into custody without incident.

He was taken to Troop 4 in Georgetown where he was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a Tier 4 quantity and possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 5 quantity

Mr. Justice was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown on $120,000 cash-only bond.
