Millsboro man sought on active warrants

LAUREL — Lorenzo Williams, 24, of Millsboro, was sought on active warrants for resisting arrest and other related charges, Delaware State Police said Thursday.

At approximately 8:08 p.m. troopers observed a red Chrysler 300 fail to stop at a stop sign at Waller Road and Sussex Highway in Laurel, spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said. A traffic stop was initiated when the driver proceeded to flee, committing further traffic violations, authorities said. Mr. Williams was identified by troopers as the driver.

Pending charges include disregarding a police officer signal, resisting arrest, driving while suspended, reckless driving and other traffic related offenses.
