Milton man apprehended on theft warrants

ELLENDALE — A 28-year-old Milton man was apprehended due to active warrants while walking on Tobin Drive just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, Ellendale Police Chief Bruce E. Von Goerres said.

Authorities said Jaquan L. Adkins was arrested and charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft stemming from a June 2018 incident in Ellendale where cars were broken in to and items removed from the vehicles. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 3 in Georgetown and released on $1,000 unsecured bond.
