No injuries in Barrister Place shooting

DOVER – Police are looking for a suspect following shooting incident early Friday morning in the 400 block of Barrister Place, Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

Officers were called to a residence at approximately 3:12 a.m. and could not locate any signs of a shooting. Police said approximately 30 minutes after the incident, officers were called by the homeowner who advised that his residence had been struck by several shots. No one was injured in the incident.

Officers recovered several shell casings outside the residence as well.

Police asked anyone with information to call 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at; a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
