One arrested, one sought after disorderly call

HARRINGTON — A 31-year-old woman was arrested and a 25-year-old man sought after police were called to the Valero for a possible domestic dispute in progress Friday, Harrington Police said.

Officers arriving at 10:14 p.m. contacted Marcia L. Parker and Eric McDuffie, both of Dover, who were inside a vehicle, spokesman Capt. Earl K. Brode said. During the course of the investigation police were advised that several patrons of the business that they observed Ms. Parker and Mr. McDuffie fighting in the parking lot but when officers questions them they were both uncooperative and refused to cooperative with police said.

While being questioned by officers Mr. McDuffie fled the scene on foot but was unable to be apprehended, police said. Ms. Parker was transported to the Harrington Police Department for processing.

Ms. Parker was charged with disorderly conduct and arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 7 in Dover and released on $100 unsecured bond.

Warrants are on file for Mr. McDuffie on resisting arrest and disorderly conduct charges.
