Pennsylvania fugitive arrested in Seaford

SEAFORD — A man wanted in Pennsylvania on a robbery warrant was arrested Saturday in Seaford following a traffic stop.

At approximately 10:24 a.m., hours, Seaford police officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation in the area of Sussex Highway and Herring Run Road, police said.

The passenger, who initially provided a false name, was identified at Daniel Turner, 43, from Reading, Pennsylvania. Turner was found to have an active warrant for robbery from the Reading Pennsylvania Police Department. Turner was charged with being an Out of State Fugitive. Turner was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Court No. 3 and held without bail pending extradition back to Pennsylvania.
