Pizza delivery driver robbed in Dover

DOVER — A pizza delivery employee was robbed early Thursday morning in the Dover East Estates Mobile Home Park, Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said.

The employee arrived at 1061 S. Little Creek Road at approximately 12:39 a.m., police said, and attempted to deliver food at a residence. Upon arrival, a male suspect was waiting for him and asked if the employee had change for a $100. The employee told him he did not, then the suspect punched the employee and fled with the food he was holding.

The suspect was described as a male in his late teens-early 20s, Hispanic, and 5-foot-8 to 5-10 tall.

Police asked anyone with information to call 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at; a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
