Police seeking man after January stabbing incident

MILLSBORO — A 47-year-old Wilmington man remains sought after a January stabbing incident at the intersection of Townsend and Harmony Cemetery road, Delaware State Police said Wednesday.

According to spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe, troopers were called to the area at approximately 8:20 p.m. and contacted a 38-year-old Milford man who was sitting on the side of the roadway with stab wounds to his extremities. The wounded man was removed from the scene by Emergency Medical Services and transported to a local area hospital.

Police said Lavocia I. Callahan was identified as a person of interest. Arrest warrants were obtained on charges of first-degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing and terroristic threatening.
