Residential burglary leads to suspect search

Henry Fordham

DOVER — A 41-year-old Magnolia man was wanted in connection with a residential burglary last Saturday in the 100 block of Pine Street, Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

The owner was renovating the house when noticing the inside of the home had been left in disarray by someone who had entered while he was not there. On Sunday, the owner responded to the residence and noticed a saw horse against a window that he did not leave there. The owner then allegedly saw Henry Fordham running from the residence, authorities said.

Inside the home, the owner found Mr. Fordham’s ID card, police said. An arrest warrant was obtained.

Police asked anyone with information to call 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at; a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
