Troopers on June 18 responded to the 10500 block of Concord Road for a report of a burglary that occurred on June 17. The homeowner told troopers that someone had entered their residence and stole cash.

Further investigation by state police revealed that Ahern had entered the residence through a window and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene, Cpl. Jaffe said.

State police located Ahern at his residence, and he was taken into custody. Ahern was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and released on his own recognizance.
