Shots fired complaint at Harrington residence

HARRINGTON — Shots were reportedly fired at a home in the 5000 block of Milford Harrington Highway at approximately 10:27 p.m. Monday, authorities said.

Delaware State Police said troopers arrived and contacted a 62-year-old female resident who said that while she was inside, she heard a vehicle speeding by, followed by a loud popping sound. Further inspection of her residence led to the discovery of a bullet hole through her front window. Her 69-year-old husband was also inside of the residence at the time of this incident, and neither sustained injuries.
