Shots fired; occupied residence struck by bullet

FRANKFORD – Delaware State Police say shots were fired late Tuesday night and at least one bullet struck a residence in the Frankford area.

Three adults and three children were in the residence at the time of this incident, which occurred about 10:40 p.m. in the 35000 block of Farm House Lane, state police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Upon arrival, troopers were told by a 37-year-old male resident that he heard multiple gunshots. Follow-up police investigation revealed a bullet entered a bedroom window and lodged in the bedroom door, Cpl. Jaffe said.
