State police: Residence, vehicle struck by gunfire

MILLSBORO – Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting incident near Millsboro Thursday night in which a residence and vehicle were hit by gunfire.

The incident occurred on March 14 at approximately 11:28 p.m. in 29000 block of Colonial Estates Avenue within the Colonial Estates Mobile Home Park, state police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said.

State police investigation revealed that a residence and a vehicle had been struck by gunfire.

Inside the residence at the time of this incident were a 63-year-old woman and two teenagers. None of the occupants were injured, Cpl. Jaffe said.

No information on the suspect was immediately available.
