Surveillance operation leads to drug arrest

DOVER — Two drug arrests arose from a surveillance operation in the area of Walker and Ann roads Tuesday morning, Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

According to authorities, Jordan Carter, 23, and Jhashawn Landry, 22, were seen conducting a drug transaction at approximately 11:31 a.m. The pair then left the area and allegedly conducted a second transaction and were then contacted by police, Cpl. Hoffman said.

Mr. Landry and Mr. Carter were found possession of 20 grams of crack cocaine, 4.9 grams of marijuana, and one dose of ecstasy, police said.

Possession charges for both men included with intent to deliver crack cocaine, crack cocaine and with intent to deliver marijuana, along with second-degree conspiracy and drug paraphernalia.

Additionally, Mr. Landry was charged with possession of ecstasy.
