DOVER — A 24-year-old Frederica man was sought and two arrests made in connection with a Thursday morning armed robbery at an apartment, Dover Police said.

According to authorities, the alleged incident took place at approximately 12:15 a.m. in the unit block of South Governors Avenue when a 23-year-old man checked on a noise heard outside the apartment. The man went outside, spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said, and was forced into another apartment by two suspects.

A third suspect was inside of the apartment with a handgun, police said. The man was ordered to remove all of his clothing. The man also had car keys and cash in his pants pocket that the suspects refused to return, police said. The suspects told the man to walk down the street naked or be shot in the foot.

The suspects fled the area and ran to a nearby business, police said.

At approximately noon Thursday, police said, Dover residents Jaron White and Duante Morrison were taken into custody at 26 S. Governors Avenue after determining they were allegedly involved in the robbery. A third suspect, Alex Durham, is also wanted, police said.

Mr. White and Mr. Morrison were charged with first-degree robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of firearm by person prohibited and second-degree conspiracy. They were held at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna on $111,000 cash bond.
