Three arrests, one sought in Milford drug probe

MILFORD — A series of arrests resulted Tuesday from a joint police operation in Milford’s Bicentennial and Memorial parks and Fourth Ward.

The offenses announced Wednesday ranged from city ordinance violations, to outstanding capiases, indecent exposure, public urination, lewdness and drug crimes, Milford Police spokesman Det. Timothy Maloney said.

Milford’s Drug Unit teamed with Dover Police Department’s Safe Street and Drug units to make the arrests.

According to police, those charged included, among others:

•Raheem K. Fullman, 20, of Harrington, was taken into custody in the parking lot of Silver Lake Estates Apartment Complex after he was allegedly found with 108 bags of suspected heroin and a small amount of crack cocaine, according to police.

Charges included manufactures, delivers, or possesses with intent to manufacture, deliver a controlled substance and possess, consume a controlled or counterfeit substance except human growth hormone without a prescription. Mr. Fullman was presented before Justice of the Peace Court 2 in Rehoboth Beach and was committed to the Department of Correction in default of $10,200 cash bail only. A preliminary hearing was scheduled in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.

•Samir Baker, 25, of Milford, was arrested after officers allegedly observed him conducting a hand to-hand drug transaction on North Street, police said. He was taken into custody and was in possession of suspected heroin and Oxymorphone without a prescription, police said.

Charges included manufactures, delivers or possession with intent to deliver a counterfeit controlled substance and possess, consume a controlled or counterfeit substance except human growth hormone without a prescription. Mr. Baker was presented through JP Court 2 and held at the DOC in lieu of $6,200 secured bail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled in the Kent County CCP.

•Kieran Purnell, 23, of Milford, was arrested after he was found in possession of suspected heroin after a vehicle stop, police said. He was charged with possess, consume a controlled or counterfeit substance except human growth hormone without a prescription with an aggravating factor. Police said he was presented through JP Court 2 and released on $1,000 unsecured bail.

Police said various amounts of suspected heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and prescription medicine were seized during the operation. Approximately $3,000 in United States currency was seized, along with roughly $2,500 in property and a vehicle.

Police said a vehicle search warrant execution led to pending charges against Theoddis Johnson, 21, of Milford. He is sought on charges of manufactures, delivers, or possesses with intent to manufacture, deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
