Three young Seaford men killed in a single-vehicle crash

BRIDGEVILLE – Three Seaford men died early Sunday in a single-vehicle crash near Bridgeville.

Delaware State Police identified the deceased as Matthew Tull, 26; his brother, Jacob Tull, 23; and 23-year-old Austin Moore, the driver of the 1998 Mercedes E320 involved in the crash.

State police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said the crash occurred shortly after 1 a.m. Oct 13 on Wesley Church Road, just south of Cannon Road.

Cpl. Jaffe said the investigation revealed that due to an excessive rate of speed, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which crossed the northbound lane, went off the roadway and severed a utility pole.

None of the three occupants were properly restrained, Cpl. Jaffe said. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing the investigation.
