Troopers investigating criminal mischief complaints

SUSSEX COUNTY – Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation of numerous reports of criminal mischief resulting in damage to vehicles and residences.

Between Friday, Dec. 21 and Saturday, Dec. 22, state police handled 11 complaints in the Georgetown, Millsboro, Frankford and Dagsboro areas, said state police spokesman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe.

The suspect or suspects used what appears to be white marbles fired with a slingshot or other firing device, causing damage to house windows, car windows and siding, Cpl. Jaffe said.
