Two charged with drug dealing after vehicle search

MILFORD — Drug charges resulted after a vehicle was searched at the Milford Public Library Wednesday, Milford Police spokesman Det. Timothy Maloney said.

Detectives conducting surveillance on a blue Jeep Cherokee conducted a search warrant and located suspected heroin for distribution, police said. Antonio Tyler, 39, was searched at drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of money was located. Lucretia Chandler, 38, of Milford was also linked to the vehicle, authorities said.

Mr. Tyler and Ms. Chandler were both charged with drug dealing, second-degree conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were presented through Justice of the Peace Court 2 in Rehoboth Beach.

Ms. Chandler was released on $5,700 unsecured bail and Mr. Tyler was released on $12,200 unsecured bail. Both were issued no contact orders with the library.
