Two motorists critically injured in Dover crash

DOVER — Two drivers were critically injured during an early Saturday morning crash on U.S. 13 near White Oak Road, Dover Police said.

Marvin Price, 51, was driving a black Dodge Charger southbound at 12:18 a.m., police said, when he lost control and his vehicle crossed into the northbound lanes of U.S. 13. His vehicle slammed head-on into a Volkswagen Passat driven by a 25-year-old woman, authorities said.

Both drivers were transported to Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital in Dover. They were in critical but stable condition, police said.

Computer, backpack stolen in robbery at Dover house
DOVER — A large laptop computer and backpack were stolen after an unknown suspect entered a residence between 7:15 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday, Dover Police said.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction after initially forcing entry through a rear door.

Police ask anyone with information to call 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.

Police identify motorist in fatal crash
MILLSBORO — Delaware State Police identified Penny G. Lewis, 61, of Frankford, as the driver who died after a Thursday crash on Daisey Road.

The crash continues to remain under investigation by the DSP Collision Reconstruction Unit.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:56 p.m., when a 2008 Ford F150 was traveling east on Daisey Road and failed to negotiate a curve, authorities said.
