QOTD: Have you watched an artist paint ‘en plein air’?

Here is the Question of the Day:

“En plein air” is a French expression that means “in the open air” and is used to describe the art of painting outdoors. Paint Dover! will host such an event this month with a few days of creation followed by judging. Have you ever watched an artist paint en plein air? Does that opportunity appeal to you more than a museum or gallery setting? If you paint, do you prefer painting inside or outdoors?
