‘Lion King KIDS’ at William Henry

DOVER — Disney’s “The Lion King KIDS” is playing at William Henry Middle School on March 16 at 6 p.m.

The 30-minute musical, designed for middle-school aged performers, is based on the Broadway production directed by Julie Taymor and the 1994 Disney film. The fifth- and sixth-grade cast and crew contains approximately 50 students led by Mary Caligiure, Joyce Leatherbury, Maia Pitts and Theresa Trice. The Lion King KIDS tells the story of the epic adventures of a curious cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destiny as king.

There will be a pre-show comprised of various performances from students. Admission is $5. Admission for students aged 13 and under is free.

William Henry Middle School is at 65 Carver Road.
