Hens’ ’20 football schedule has new look

NEWARK – Delaware’s football 2020 schedule, which was released, features some significant differences from the last few.

For one thing, the Blue Hens will close the season against in-state rival Delaware State, rather than opening against the Hornets.

Delaware also has two new opponents in Long Island and North Carolina State. The Hens also play three of their first four games on the road, beginning with an especially-tough opener at perennial CAA power James Madison.

The 11-game slate, which includes six home games and five road contests, finishes with Delaware playing its final three games in Newark.
