Roundup: Dover girls rout Concord 67-13 at Pat Borowski tournament

Dover High defeated Concord High 67-13 in a girls’ basketball matchup at the Pat Borowski tournament hosted by Lake Forest High on Thursday afternoon.

Dover advanced to play St. Thomas More in the Bracket A championship game at 6 p.m. today.

The Senators improved to 4-2 on the season.

Caesar Rodney 55, Wilmington Friends 31: The Riders won their opening round game of the Diamond State Classic on Thursday, hosted by St. Elizabeth.

Stacey Deputy paved the Riders with 19 points. Lillian Ayers added 12.

Caesar Rodney plays St. Joseph, N.Y. today at 5:45 p.m. in the championship round of its bracket.

Delmarva Christian 63, ECHS@DSU 50: Andrew Workman’s 22 points lifted the Royals to the win in a game played at Sussex Academy.

Sanford 68, Cape Henlopen 31: The Vikings fell to Sanford in their first game of the Slam Dunk to the Beach tournament on Thursday.

Walkersville, Md. 85, Indian River 79: Jamier Felton scores 42 points in the Indians defeat at the Governor’s Challenge in Salisbury, Md.

His performance was two points off from the Governor’s Challenge record off 44 points in a single game. Felton also netted the 1,000th point of his career.
