Local roundup: Milford falls to St. Elizabeth 60-52 in boys basketball

Milford High dropped a boys’ basketball matchup, 60-52, to St. Elizabeth in nonconference action on Thursday night.

Daniel Shockley’s 15 points led the Buccaneers. Terrell Gibbs added 10.

The Buccaneers fell to 12-7 after losing their fourth game in a row.

M.O.T. Charter 49, St. Thomas More 42: The Ravens suffered the non-conference loss despite 22 points from DeAndre Gourdine.

Delmarva Christian 63, Salisbury School, Md. 54: The Royals improved to 17-2 after picking up their fourth straight victory.

ECHS@DSU 51, Sussex Central 48: The Hornets earned the win Thursday to move to 9-8 overall.

Girls’ basketball

Padua 46, Dover 27: The Pandas built a 35-16 lead after three quarters before downing the Senators.

Riana Sizer had a team-high 10 points for Dover (8-9).

ECHS@DSU 39, Design Thinking Academy 30: The Hornets extended their winning streak to four games in a row as they improved to 6-10.

Delmarva Christian 47, Salisbury School, Md. 27: The Royals won for the 10th time in the last 11 games to raise their record to 14-5.
