As the high school football season enters its third week, here’s our predictions for the local high school and college games.

Today

Games start at 7 p.m. unless noted.

Seaford (1-0) at St. Andrews (1-0), 4 p.m.

The Blue Jays will be looking to make it two victories in a row over St. Andrews.      

AW: Seaford, 34-12; TM: Seaford, 36-20; BH: Seaford, 14-10; GF: Seaford, 21-20; MP: Seaford, 42-12.

William Penn (0-2) at Caesar Rodney (2-0)

After a pair of one-point wins, CR faces a Wm. Penn squad that’s better than its record.

Concord (1-1) at Dover (0-2)

The schedule doesn’t get easier for the Senators, who are battling their share of injuries.

Milford (1-1) at Polytech (1-1)

Both teams have played well so far this season but only one can get a victory tonight.

A.I. DuPont (2-0) at Lake Forest (1-1)

The Spartans will try to ride the momentum from last Saturday’s big win over Tatnall.

Northeast, Md. (2-1) at Cape Henlopen (1-1)

After a one-sided loss, the Vikings square off with another tough out-of-state opponent.     

AW: NE, 27-20; TM: NE, 30-14; BH: Cape, 28-20; GF: NE, 31-27; MP: Cape, 35-18.

Caravel (1-1) at Sussex Central (2-0)

Golden Knights put their 2-0 mark up against one of the state’s top Division II programs.      

AW: Central, 21-14; TM: Central, 28-21; BH: Central, 31-24; GF: Central, 21-17; MP: Central, 42-12.

Indian River (1-1) at St. Mark’s (1-1)

Indian River heads north for the program’s first football meeting with the Spartans.

Irvington, N.J. (2-0) at Smyrna (0-2), 7:30 p.m.

Irvington probably won’t make it any easier for the Eagles to pick up their first victory.

Washington, Md. (1-2) at Laurel (1-1), 7:30 p.m.

After getting their first win of the fall, the Bulldogs take aim on a second-straight victory.

St. Elizabeth (1-1) at Delmar (1-1), 7:30 p.m.

Delmar’s homefield advantage should matter when St. E’s has to take a two-hour ride.

Saturday

Sussex Tech (0-2) at Mt. Pleasant (1-1), 10:30 a.m.

Playing a morning road game can’t be an easy task as Ravens try again for first victory.

Woodbridge (2-0) at Wilmington Friends (2-0), 2 p.m.

Raiders will try to top Quakers again in a rematch of last year’s Div. II state finals.

College

Wesley (1-0, 1-1) at William Patterson (0-2, 0-3), 1 p.m.

The Wolverines know they can’t have any slip-ups in their NJAC schedule.

Norfolk State (0-0, 0-3) at Delaware State (0-1, 0-3), 2 p.m.

Its home opener would be a great time for DelState to end 14-game losing streak.
