The Henlopen Conference football regular season reaches the finishes line tonight.

There’s rivalries, state tournament seeding and a division title all on the line. Here’s our predictions for the local high school as well as college games being played this weekend:

Friday
Sussex Tech (3-2, 5-4) at Cape Henlopen (1-4, 1-8), 6 p.m.
After outscoring its last three foes 151-19, Tech looks to finish with fourth straight win.

Caesar Rodney (2-3, 5-4) at Dover (4-1, 8-1)
If the records truly don’t matter in this rivalry game, Riders have the chance to prove it.

Polytech (0-5, 1-8) at Smyrna (2-3, 2-6)
While there won’t be a state title, Eagles can close season with a win for 4th straight year.

Delmar (5-0, 9-0) at Woodbridge (5-0, 7-2)
The South title and tourney seeding will be on the line in this showdown in Bridgeville.

Milford (3-2, 5-4) at Lake Forest (3-2, 5-4)
The winner not only gets to claim the bell but gets to finish with a winning record as well.

Seaford (0-5, 2-7) at Laurel (0-5, 3-6), 7:30 p.m.
One of the two long-time Sussex County rivals will notch their first Henlopen South vctory.

Saturday
College games
Delaware (5-1, 7-2) at Stony Brook (4-2, 6-3), 1 p.m.
The No. 11 Blue Hens’ playoff drive faces a tough obstacle in the No. 12 Seawolves.

Wesley (5-3, 6-3) at Christopher Newport (5-2, 6-2), 1 p.m.
Both teams probably deserve better records but only one gets to pick up another victory.
