Smyrna-Clayton opened the Major League softball District I tournament with a 12-2 victory over M.O.T. on Sunday evening.
Smyrna-Clayton hosts Camden-Wyoming today at 7 p.m. in the three-team, double-elimination tourney.
M.O.T. will play again on Tuesday at 7 p.m. against the loser of today’s contest. The finals are slated for Wednesday evening.

Camden-Wyoming 24, Milford 1: Camden-Wyoming stayed alive with the win in the losers’ bracket on Sunday.
CW (2-1) will host another losers’ bracket game today at 6 p.m.
Josh Harvey went 4-for-4 with five RBI and three runs scored for Camden-Wyoming. which was also paced by David Dill (2-for-2, 3 RBI, 3 runs), Charles Keeler (3-for-3, 2 RBI) and Alex Bauer(2-for-2, 2 RBI). Winning pitcher Mason Bush after allowing only one hit and striking out four in three innings.
Hunter Mitchell had a hit for Milford.
Deak Deakins Tournament
CW-Gold 7, CW-Blue 3: CW-Gold collected 12 hits in advancing to the tournament semifinals.
CW-Gold will play again today at Harrington at 7 p.m.
Quade Cummings went 3-for-3 with Alex Brown and Thiago Elias also adding multiple hits for CW-Gold. Ethan Thompson scored twice.
CW-Blue was paced Dennis Martin, Maddox Papen and Lane Cummings, who each contributed multiple hits.
Felton-Harrington-White 14, Dover 2: FH-White reached the tournament semis with the victory.
FH-White takes on CW-Gold today at 7 p.m. in Felton.
Roman Schmid (2 runs, 2 RBI), Makai Pritchard (3 runs, 2 doubles, 1 homerun) and Jacob Jakson (2-run double) all led FH-White.
Dover got one hit and one run each from Terrell Ingram and Bruce Burton.

Felton-Harrington 18, Smyrna-Clayton 1: Felton-Harrington advanced to the tourney finals with the win on Sunday.
Felton-Harrington will play again today at 6 p.m. at Marydel-Hartly.
Winning pitcher Jacob Kelley struck out four in three innings while Brayden Whiteknight and Dustin Russum also led Felton-Harrington.
Camden-Wyoming 16, M.O.T.-Blue 0: Camden-Wyoming reached the tourney finals with the victory.
C-W takes on Felton-Harrington today at 6 p.m. at Marydel-Hartly.
Winning pitcher Parker White struck out eight and allowed only one hit in four innings. He also went 2-for-3 and scored three runs.
